Remember the post about the front of my house...How I did not know what to do with it...Well, it was done for me...But first, let me back up a little.
This weekend started off rough.
Our water heater went out.
It was the best!! I could have all 5 of us take a shower,
run the dishwasher, do a few loads of laundry,
and still have HOT water.
This water heater I swear was from the 70's.
We rent our house...so we didn't have to pay for it.
THANK GOD!
This water Heater does NOT work like the last one.
I am so disappointed.
My hubby and the landlord started to talk about the house
and he is going to jack the house up this summer and try to
make it level again.
This house was built in the early 1900's,
has no foundation, and is sinking.
Whoo Hoo, what fun.
Anyhow, he said that he would have his workers come over and do a few things in our yard this weekend. OK! That sounds great!
Our landlord is a really nice guy.
Here is what was done.
This is looking out my front door. There was nothing there to begin with. We use to have tree's, but our previous landlords removed them for whatever reasons.
This is the area where I had no clue what to put there...it is a start.
They put one of those things here as well, I really do not like it there! I might have to have them move it.
So to finish my weekend off...they also trimmed some trees. There is this one in the backyard that is really big and is starting to grow onto the roof.
Yep, you guessed it! A branch went through the window!
It was the window to my girls room...right where they sleep. That happened Saturday.
It didn't get fixed until Sunday night around 6:30 - 7 p.m.
Thank God we paid our rent so our landlord had money to pay for all this stuff...

Ah Man! When it rains, it pours! At least the landlord has to take care of it!
