~I looked SEXY today~

This is what I call my really sexy look! NOT! I had so much cleaning to do today in my kitchen.I have been wanting to get it organized for some time now. I guess today was that day. I was in there for 4 hours or more. There was a crap load of stuff to do.


Here is what I started with. You really can't tell, but there is a lot of stuff on my dish washer. That and them more came out of the cupboard above.
So I have one of those really shallow drawers...that you never know what to put in it...well, I figured out what to put in it! This was also in the cupboard above the dishwasher. There was a bunch a crap in there before I put the cake and cupcake, cookie stuff in there.

So this is my catch all cupboard on the top shelf. Before......

What was on that shelf...a lot of crap!


Anyone need batteries?AFTER!!!!

I know it doesn't look like I did a lot, but that only what I took pictures of. :) I am so glad that I got it done and over with!

~My Best Friend and I~

On Sunday I have a date with my best friend Jen Bear...You ask why I am calling it a date. Well, we had to schedule it on our calendars. That is pretty bad. While I was in the shower today...I started to think about my date with my best friend...I do my best thinking in the shower by the way. I was thinking about how much fun t his was going to be...we get to go to the Olive Garden for lunch, then go to IKEA!!!! I have never been. I also thought that maybe we can go to the corn maze at the pumpkin patch...that is probably not going to happen...I have a curfew.

Then my mind started to wander about why we had to schedule a day just for us...why is it that we take the time and effort to spend with our other friends, but we do not do that with us...She only lives 45 minutes from me and I do not make the time to go and see her even once a month...there's something wrong with this picture(this is what I am thinking to myself in the shower remember). I mean dang...I took the time to go see friends that lived HOURS from me and didn't take the time to go 45 minutes to see her...well this is what I came up with.

We have been best friends for 18 years (I think)...that is a long time! Jen and I are a old married couple!!!!!! At least in my marriage we not make time for one anther...so here is to Jen and I being so comfortable with one another...we are not only the battery any more...LOL

~Update on my Blah,Blank, life~

I spent all day yesterday thinking about why I was so sad....This is what I came up with and it makes sense to me....I went to see my dearest friend Kristi last weekend....it was so nice to hang out with a friend...I started to get sad a day after I got home....I MISS HAVING MY FRIENDS CLOSE TO ME!!!! I am happier now that I figured this out.

I have friends here...don't get me wrong...but not any who I hang out with. I just really miss having that. Thank you all for making me feel better...I love you all.

~What a Blank,Blah,Dull Life~

I have no clue what the hell is going on with me...I have been feeling a bit depressed for a few days. I keep trying to get out of this rut, but I am having a hard time. I just feel like I need more in my life...the same old shit is not enough for me anymore...maybe I am changing due to my kids getting older...I am just not happy with the way my life is anymore...it has been like this for 12 years...It's time for a change, but I don't know what.

~Our Trip to Kent and Shaniko Oregon~

On Saturday we went to go visit Kristi and her family. This was the first time that my kids came with me. They enjoyed the drive...I only say that because there was hardly any "Are we there yet?" We walked the town, which is less the a mile long I think..(If I am wrong Kristi, sorry)The kids got to go down the middle of the street...which is the coolest thing to do as a kid. On Sunday we went to Shaniko. I LOVE that little town. I only wish more was open.

There use to be a Train Station that came here...some where out there...these are the tys from it.

This is the Beautiful Hotel that is there in Shaniko, but it not longer open and for sale. So if anyone want to buy it for 4 million dollars and alot more buildings that go with it....you really should.

It is almost Fall time..this means really yummy stews,soups,casseroles...I love this time of the year...Beautiful leaves falling...I love all the colors!!

I have fruit flies....I hate them....I do not want to spray anything in my house to get rid of them because I don't like using chemicals...how do I get rid of them??? And yes, there is NO FRUIT on my counters or any where else....pesky little things.
